Dr. Amy Reale
Dr. Amy Reale, a Clinical and School Psychologist, completed her Doctoral and Master degrees from Pace University in New York, NY, USA, and her Bachelor degree from Franklin & Marshall College in Pennsylvania, USA. She is a Registered Psychologist with the Singapore Psychological Society, and a Licensed Psychologist and Certified School Psychologist in New York, USA. She holds memberships in the American Psychological Association, the World Association for Infant Mental Health, and the Singapore Psychological Society. She is a Credentialed Psychologist by the National Register of Health Service Psychologists (USA).
Dr. Amy has clinical experience in counselling and psychotherapy, consultation, teaching and training, supervision, crisis management, and psychological assessments of individuals of all ages across a variety of settings, including hospitals, schools, clinics, and child development centres. She has worked with children (infancy through adolescence) with anxiety and mood disorders, attention-deficit and hyperactivity, attachment and identity problems, behavioural problems, major medical conditions, trauma, and developmental and learning disabilities. Part of her training was also with adults with chronic and persistent mental illness and addiction. Her research, studying the relationship between mother and babies, has led her to present around the world and underlies her treatment specialization in parent-infant dyadic therapy.
Dr. Amy tends to work from a developmental, family-systemic, and relational psychodynamic framework, although she will use cognitive, behavioural, or skills-based approaches when needed. As an avid traveller and part and parcel to her ongoing work with diverse and expatriated populations, the cultural implications of identity and adjustment are particularly interesting to her. Dr. Amy is well-versed in nonverbal observational techniques, which uniquely contributes to her skills in assessment and intervention. Although early childhood is her core treatment group, Dr. Amy enjoys her varied caseload comprised of psychological testing, and individual, group, and family therapies. Collaborating with other professionals through consultation, professional development, and supervision is also a priority for her.

I work in French, English and Italian, offering psychotherapy for patients of all ages, parental guidance and intellectual and emotional assessments for children up to 16 years old.
As a psychologist, empathy and trust are my priorities, as they help to create the "protective bubble" my patients need to pause, breathe and share their emotions and concerns.
I aim at giving my patients the support they need to make their own changes and improve their lives. This is why I adapt my practice to the person's needs : the length, the regularity and the number of the sessions, as well as the type of approach, depend on the type of issue and support needed.
I have a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy from Université Paris 8. I am trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), hypnotherapy and short-term strategic therapy. I also use a family-systemic perspective and solution-oriented psychotherapy tools.
